I miss our school where the stairs don't move, where there isn't a poltergeist and where we aren't being turned into the opposite gender or whatever else has happened to us while we've been at this castle. [WARDED TO BEAUXBÂTONS, WRITTEN IN FRENCH]Am I the only one that finds these exams ridiculously easy? Also, there are some cookies on the table in the common room that you can help yourselves to. My mother sent them. [END WARD]
I just had a very interesting conversation with a little blue Hufflepuff girl that sounded like a chipmunk. Though it was less of a conversation and more of her having laughing fits as she attempted to speak to me and either heard her own voice or saw her face. It was very amusing.

[WARDED TO BEAUXBÂTONS, WRITTEN IN FRENCH]There is a box of cupcakes with each of our initials on them atop a table in our common room that I asked Flora to make. Do not eat them. They are filled with Sleeping Draught. If you want actual cupcakes then I'm sure Flora will be happy to oblige.
Also, Dani is asleep on the couch and will remain that way until sometime tonight. I think I've also managed to convince her to leave a few of her clubs. I am now off to ask Professor Vector a question about Arithmancy.

Thestrals are very interesting creatures, we do not have them at Beauxbâtons because I'd imagine that people there that could see them would consider them ugly and the French like pretty things, but almost impossible to get to stand still especially during the day but this one was more than cooperative. There are also a few young ones that are bordering on adorable but a bit too friendly in the way they nibbled my fingers.

[WARDED TO BELGIUM FOOD GROUP (Avery, Edwin, Lydia and Riley)]I do not know what we are going to make but I can recount a few months where I stayed in Belgium and what I ate. Aside from the fondness that the country has for it's beer and chocolate, waffles (either Brussels and Liège) are commonly eaten as a street snack. Stoemp, which is mashed potatoes mixed with other vegetables and often served with sausages. There are also several places called 'friteries' where one could buy fries which are served in a cone along with sauce.
Then of course there were a few desserts that I can recall but one that stands out to me is the Speculoos Cookie (or biscuit as the English call it). It used to be made to celebrate Saint Nicholas day but it's incredibly popular now that it's commonly served at coffee shops and with ice cream which is quite good.
There is also Waterzooi which, despite it's odd name, was actually quite good. It was a soup that could either be made with fish or chicken and an assortment of other vegetables. I never had the fish waterzooi seeing as the chicken version was much more common. [END WARD]
